YACT: When do the re-designs come out for current cars on market?

See, im in the market for a new car, but there's no specific date in which i have to make a purchase, thus explaining why i would like to know more about what's on the horizon for some of the current models that are out, many of which i believe are due for some sort of significant design update in the near future (notably: Toyota Celica, Acura RSX, Honda Civic Coupe? - No Scion tC up here in Canada).

The car im driving now is fine, but it seems about time for a change into something a little more sporty and fun (i currently drive a hand-me-down). Also adding to things is the fact that i only have a relatively small window of time in August to make a decision. After that, i may have to wait until Spring '05 to go back at it again. And this is why im looking for any information about the future of current car models that may be nearing the end of thier current generation. Say i buy an 04' Celica. I'd be pretty angry if i found out only a few months later that a new generation was just around the corner.

I know Honda does minor revs every 2 years and total refreshes every 4. I believe Toyota does a total refresh every 5. GM does one like every 20 years and apologizes for its previous poor quality. 😛

2006 Civic should be new I think.

The last Integra (RSX) and Celica re-designs took about 7-8 years for each. I haven't heard any rumors of any new designs, so we're probably at least 2-3 years away before either of them see a change. With more volume, the Civic designs change more often, but the last change was only a couple of years ago (02 year IIRC).
