just wondering if anyone has had luck buying a car from a government auction or w.e
u call it...

most websites i found require a membership, so before i pay anything i would like to hear opinions....
 
Well, as long as you don't mention you didn't pay any income tax on the money you're using to buy it...

My dad has a license to go down to those auctions, sweet rides for low price, no warranties, and cars sold as is...so be careful.

Looking at the real estate section there and, DAMN!!!. If those prices are real there are smoking deals to be had.
 
Lets think about it for a second. A cars at a used dealership costs $5000. They got it for maybe $4000 on a trade in or public auto auction.

But there are special police auctions that no dealer has ever discovered yet everyone else seems to have heard of, which allows people to get ungodly deals like $500 for a jaguar. Sure.

Lets get real, please.
