YACT: What's the differences among all the Corolla Models?

I can't seem to figure it out, yet there are price differences among the CE, S, and LE.

Any help would be appreciated.

They're the same except trim levels -- the S has a body kit, black interior, leather wrapped steering wheel, etc..I think CE is the new base model (I assume you're referring to the 2003s...? The models are different in the earlier ones); LE is the top model. They all have the same engine (1ZZFE with VVTi - 130hp. 01-02s have 125hp).

Mine ('98) has 120hp/120tq. It'll get up and go better than a typical Civic..

No they have torque. Actually they have a fairly flat torque band...just very buzzy.

Their 1.6L motor was awesome, much better power delivery than hte current 1.8L.

Their 1.6L motor was awesome, much better power delivery than hte current 1.8L.
