I am not saying the seller asks for 60k, i am just curious what worths 40k in that car? he says he put in 40k of extras in the car.

I agree, and I think it worths the price but the thing is.... the extras in that car is no where close to 40k....
 
Man, all that money invested and not even a brake upgrade. "Ooohhh, drilled rotors," yeah, but they are stock sized. I don't think it's really 40k invested, prob much less than that.

For the second time, he says $40k INVESTED, not $40k in upgrades. The $40k includes the car itself. He even says in all capital letters that he made $20k+ in upgrades:

FACTORY STICKER WAS RIGHT AT $22,000 WITH AN ADDITIONAL $20,000 + IN UPGRADES. THERE'S MANY MORE UPGRADES I HAVEN'T LISTED.

You be the judge of whether the upgrades he put into it were worth $20k or not, but the fact remains that he's only trying to get $23,900 for it, which would only be $1900 over the sticker price if what he says is accurate, which I doubt.

Edit: I asked the guy why he's selling it - he said he bought a new car. Sounds kind of weird - why would you (supposedly) put $20k into a car, drive it 2000 miles, and buy a new car 2 months later?

Exactly. If this person has the money to go out and buy another car after basicly blowing $20k on upgrades then they would have just traded it in instead of selling it on ebay. Odd to say the least.
 
Haha, the last car sold by this person had the mileage stated at 42871, actually it was 242,871 as the buyer left a negative. This person is moving cars for a dealership or something, they talk about all of the autos they sell like they drive/own them but they sell way to many. They all have ice cold A/C, none have any rattles or shakes, all were just serviced and have great tires. "DURRRRRR, lemme snap some pics of this car while its in the repair shop for my Ebay auction."

So over $40k....doubt he will get it as a modded car is a hard sell.

I had a VR6 I sold modded and had the right buyer so I got what I wanted....I added in 1/4 for the mods at lowest price to the edmunds. Mine sold fast, I probably could have done well on ebay with it.

Most of his money is probably in the OETTINGER turbo setup that's on it (good but overpriced). looks like a nice car...just have to wonder why he is really selling it with about 2,100 miles on it. Something tells me he overrevved it or something else and did a quick fix. The car is about 20 minutes from me though.

For what he did there, he could have a really nice Ford F-350 4WD diesel or a RAM 3500 slt laramie.

What use is a commercial type truck other than taking up two spaces+ and sticking out into oncoming traffic as well as sucking down fuel good for?

Let me guess, pretty useful to protect the driver when they drive through 3 stopped cars as they are talking on their cell while also taking to their kid in the backseat?
