I just drove it. It has a few minor dings/blemishes on the body, missing it's rear headrests, everything else looks fine. New battery, no other changes. First owner was a 65 YO, 2nd owner probably a 40YO so no kiddies tearing it up in it's short (mileage) life...

And...would ****** drive this car? :D
edit: LOL - Charles Norriss is a banned word :D

Edit: Edmunds says $14,255...so $255 for the headrests - offer $14K?

He listed it last Saturday, I was the first to look at it, he's had 3 hits. I'm pretty sure I could get it for $14, possibly 13.5. I'll let him sweat a day or 2...

You didn't mention what the carfax report said. What did the carfax report say?

Carfax report says everything is beautiful...

Good News -- Vehicle qualifies for the CARFAX Buyback Guarantee!
No severe problems (major accidents, fire, flood damage, major odometer problems or lemon history) were ever reported by a Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for this 2002 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX

Kelley Blue Book on it is $15,530

I wouldn't pay more than $13.5 for it. I've been Rex wagon prices religiously as of late. The mileage seals the deal. If you can get it for $13.5 buy it.

I'm in the market for a WRX, and have been contemplating whether I should buy a new or used one. I'm not a big fan of used cars, so i'll likely go for a new one.

Anyway, i've read on Nasioc that '02s have weaker tranny's than the 03+. Make sure you know for a fact that the tranny has no issues before you buy.
