yact: what is a reliable database of performance specs?

I can't seem to find any. Googling is not helping out. I just find a bunch of crappy websites that I can't trust for specs. I want to know the real specs of the 1985 Trans Am, 1986 V-6 Camaro, 1992 Civic DX, 1988 Dodge Shadow and 1991 Eagle Talon AWD. Where can I find reliable specs of 0-30/0-60, 1/4-mile, etc?

You'll probably have to research each car seperately, and make your own table.

At least, thats what I would begin if I couldn't find someone who had already done it.

In general, such a database is going to be slightly flawed... a lot of the car testers out there are getting press cars or cars that they aren't allowed to POUND.

For the 1991 Talon TSi AWD/Eclipse GSX, I've known people drive them deep into the low 14s and high 13s in stock trim. They're driving them like madmen, "never lift to shift!" That with clutch-smoking head-snapping sub-2second 60fts. Most magazines don't drive like that or even know how to.
