YACT: What car has perfectly round LED rear lights and turn indicators?

Coming home yesterday I had a sporty-looking car ahead of me that pretty obviously had LED rear lights on it. The rear lights were perfect circles like the current Chevy Impala does, but only two lights on the far corners of the car. The turn signals were also circles and LEDs.

What else...I think it was a coupe, but I don't remember very well now. The exhaust was mounted on the right side and was pretty loud. My feeling was that it was a fairly expensive car and it definitely could move fast.

Does AT have an idea of the name and make of the car I saw last night?

Hmm, possible - I've seen and been behind a lot of G35s, so between that and how prominent the word "Infiniti" is displayed on a G35 I thought I'd have recognized one. Plus it looks like they all have dual exhausts, and do they actually have LED rear lights?

yes it has LED lights. Also, you can have a single exhaust on the G35 coupe (aftermarket)

Yikes, this Skyline looks pretty close to what I saw.

No GT-R badge though...I think. No spoiler. That exhaust looks similar, but on the right side - not the left. The thing could ^*!%ing move.

I'm inclined to think the same way considering our family cars are a Taurus and a Sentra, but the truth of it is that would probably fit. We have two H2 Hummers within one block. A grey NSX. An RX-8 was parked on my street way before they were available for sale to the public (I wish I had driven back with my digicam, it was beautiful). And finally there's a very badass looking blue and white Viper about half a block over.

I think I'll look around for it come Friday and keep my digicam on me. It looked like a badass machine.

Where do you live? Toronto?

I'm in Southern California. I frequently see all kinds of exotic cars. I've seen a Skyline on the streets here even though they aren't legal for sale here. I've seen a Ferrari Enzo and a few Maseratis. On a drive up to Los Angeles I can usually spot at least one or two Porsche 911 Turbos.

Edit - You can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting a Hummer H2. I can go out in the parking lot at work and take a picture of one if I were so inclined.

Kind of like that in the bay area, or at least certain parts. I live in Palo Alto, which is like 50,000? people, and we our own lamborghini dealer. I went there and sat in one too :) . H2's are way too common here also.

Technically just west of Toronto, a city called Mississauga. SoccerMomVille. Great city to have a house in (very quiet), but oh so boring for kids.

Eh well, exotics are natural to California. Up here where it's winter 8 months of the year, high-end sports cars are still fairly irregular. :) I wonder why Hummer H2s are so popular? $73k - $80k CDN is nothing to sneeze at...

haha, or it could have been a late 2nd gen rx7 (they have round lights, not exactly sure on how sure you are that they were led's) and the 3rd gen rx7's in japan 1999+ have round tails too, and some people in the us converted theirs to be round as well....

I've seen Hondas and Acuras with the Skyline body kits but there's no mistaking most of them for a real Skyline.

My first thought would be Ferrari (round taillights are their signature as seen on the 550, 360, etc.).
However, you probably wouldn't have missed the prancing horse badge plus I think all newer Ferraris have dual exhaust.
