I'm leaning towards an 02-03 Maxima SE, the 3.5L would be nice. Although, I'd go for a 00-01 (3.0L) if I found one I liked at a good price.

Maxima owners pipe in, I'd like your opinions on your car.

I'd like ideas on any other cars to consider too.

I'll probably buy in the next month.

Daily driver so preferably an automatic, don't want to mess with a stick all the time. Comfort is what I'm really after, been driving around in a big, old, rough 4x4 ever since I had my license, and now it's time for something relaxing.

Accord V6 is nice, but expensive used; not a good value IMO.

Maxima is a good choice. Nice torque V6 from what I hear.

Considered American? Grand Prix's are torquey sonbitches, and the GTP is a 280HP/260TQ supercharged 3.8L V6. Pontiac G6 if that floats your boat as well. Not a fan of the Impala's/Malibu's myself, but those are an option.

GM = high depreciation = very new car for your price range IMO, check it out
