YACT: The wire for my trunk is loose...

The back doesn't close because the wire is loose. I flick the switch and it does nothing. Can I just cut the wire and use my key for entry? Or will that even work after I cut the wire?

Yeah, but to do it right, you'll have to get into the trunk and close it first.

Hahaha, yeah. The two cars I've owned don't even have internal releases.

The only problem with your plan is that it's a hatchback.

What's wrong with hatchback? If I can actually close it, I'd just leave it. The seats in back come down so I can still use the trunk. It's a pain when I wanna carry luggage, but it's better than having the trunk lid slam everytime I go over a speed bump. :)
