Ok, the Jag is havin some problems.
When driving the temp keeps climbing up to almost redline. If I run the heater I get no hot air out. All of a sudden the heater just dumps hot air and the te,mp drops to almost normal, then the heater starts blowin cold air and the temp climbs again. Repeat over and over.
I'm thinkin stuck thermostat.... Sound about right to anyone else? Car is a 97 Taurus if that matters.
Thanks!

Yep, thermostat. It's getting stuck closed.

Replace it, they're like 15$. You don't want your engine getting that hot.

A bad fan clutch can cause these problems, too. To check it, see if there's any oil leaking from the center "hub". Also, when the engine is cool, it should spin with a fair amount of resistance.
