If you had the chance to get into a brand new 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer with every possible option for invoice pricing, would you do it?

The other option would be to go Chevrolet but pay somthing probably something over invoice.

What would you do?

Personally, I would get something smaller.

But if you're getting a killer deal and in the market for one, that I suppose you shouldn't pass it up.

Yep.

And even then I doubt I'd buy that particular SUV. Depreciation on it will be rude. I mean offensive.

I wish I could be comfortable in something smaller, but I was never as happy with a vehicle as when I owned my 98 F150 and that was simply because of the space I had for my body. As far as being a killer deal - I don't know anybody without connections who is getting into new expeditions for invoice pricing.

Nope, I've got a growing family to haul too.

Oh god an oversized "SUV". Please no. Get the Trailblazer instead... those are nice.

Id go with a SUV that would be worth something after 4 years...like say the BMW X5 4.6i or maybe wait a year and get the X5 4.8is (if they release it). Better yet...Hartge has their version of the X5 with a M5 engine. Got to drive it while they had my M3 in their shop, all I can say is AWESOME!

Not Trailblazer. Envoy. The interior is worth it over the Trailblazer. :D

so much for the price range, and size class.. 4.6i is a hair under 70k. not to mention no where near expedition's size..

i suppose it might be cool to have a fast truck, but there's something wrong w/ a 5000 pound truck doing a 6.2 60 mile sprint.

back to original question, you might get a good deal now, but what kinda deal will you find at the pump?

No I wouldn't get it. Exactly what price can you get it for? Gotta be better choices in that price range.

Sorry you're right... the Envoy was what I was thinking of ! Not with the extended rear though.
