Towed in and replaced a wiring harness which was improperly installed. Now at 155 miles the gas gauge starts wildly going back and forth. Took it back in. Does look decent on inside (I'll give them that) and is stylish outside. But two trips to the shop in first 155 miles is indicative of faulty build quality. I will not own this vehicle any longer than I have to and will think long and hard before buying another GM product. If I had to spend the money over again, I'd get a Sequoia. "

they said that 2 trips to the dealer in 155 miles was unacceptable. it is unacceptable. that doesn't make them a fanboi.

1 = all

right?

i'm sorry, are you trying to emphasize my point?

I think he's trying to say that 1 sucky Tahoe doesn't mean they all suck

Look at a new 2005 FX35. I picked one up at the end of Jan right before the 06's came out for $38k out the door. AWD w/Touring.

Volvo XC90. We all chipped in and bought one for my father-in-law, and it is super-nice. With options we got around 40k or so, but they base much lower than that.

And no offense, but if you are considering a RAV4 over a Highlander, you're nuts. I have a 2003 Highlander and it's a pleasure to drive. Bought for 24k with a 4cyl, the V6 versions are nicer for highway driving.
