Andreas Zapatinas used to be the chief designer for Alfa Romeo. Those probably are not fakes -- that is the new design direction for Subaru.

I looked around Nasioc and this is pretty much confirmed. Debut should be in early March at the show in Geneva. On sale in US in May (Subaru always debuts their new model years early). This is just a facelift, a full redesign is still planned for 2007.

I have to claim BS on those pics. It looks exactly the same almost but with an ugly grill Photoshopped onto it on front and some things changed in the back.

I like the new look. And by the way just by looking at the front, right a way, I could tell that the guy was from Alfa Romeo. Subarus were real ugly but I like the way they are moving right now.
