YACT: Strange sounds from near belts

i have a 1999 Accord EX and i just recently had these strange sounds from near the timing belts i'm not sure what this part is ...

i've read around and it could be one of many things: tensioner, water pump, belt, etc

the sounds are coming from just left of the oil syringe.

Looks like the A/C compressor. Try cycling it on and off, by turning the defroster off, then the A/C on. Disconnnecting the clutch would have the same effect.
