YACT: squeaking noises???

... so, when i turn the steering, i hear sqeaking noises emenating from behind the steering wheel (column?) and from the right front side of the car...

what could be wrong?

p.s.: i'm taking it in to the shop, i'm just asking for opinions
 
Tie rods, ball joints, idler arm, Steering gear bushings, brakes, strut mounts or bearings. There are a lot of potential areas a squeak could come from. Next time post more information about the vehicle and I could be more helpful. 😀
 
err, i'm quite ignorant when it comes to distinguising between squeaks. i have a 95 mazda mx-6 with 160k miles on it, so potentially the trouble could be anywhere...
