A few days ago as I got in my car and started backing out of the driveway, I hear this scraping type sound coming from the back. So I stop, look under the car, but clearly nothing is dragging on the ground. So I've been driving it... and the sound only happens at low speeds, when I'm backing out of somewhere or taking off from a stop sign. I looked under the car for anything... but didn't find anything, but I don't know anything about cars anyway. And I think it's getting better... like the last day or two it only does it sometimes, and definitely not as loud. It's not the engine or anything cause the car runs good still.

It started happening one day after I had been driving down a gravel/rough road. Obviously it was bumpy, but I drove slow, and I've hit worse potholes and stuff MANY times, can't belive that wouldn've caused it?

It sounds like its coming from the rear driver side tire, in that area. It's hard to describe the sound, not really a rattle, kind of a scraping sound, but not quite. :)

Not sure if anyone could diagnose such a thing on here, but think there's any worry?

Probably just a small child or hairy animal caught between your tire and the wheelwell, nothing a sharp stick wont solve ;)
