I was cruising down my road at 55 MPH, the posted speed limit. I had a long day and was ready to get home....

I topped the hill before my house and right on the other side was this HUGE cat...... (Yes It was a cat and not another animal...)

I didnt have time to slow down much... probally 5 MPH at the most... But I moved to the left a little to miss it but it followed me and then......

"THUMP, Thonk, BUMP, Bang, Slam, Wham, and WHOOOSH!!!!"

I creamed it 😛.....

It hurt my car though... Im so pissed now :|

And for all you cat Lovers Its not Like I TRIED to hit It, I did my best to miss it, My life is more important than a cat's though so im sorry, But people should keep their animals in a fence or in a cage like they belong, there are leash laws for cats in my area.

I hate hitting animals. I've only done it once and it ruined my night, not because of any damage done to the car, but just annoyed at the damn thing getting in the way and me having to run it over 🙁
 
Are all those scratches and stuff from the cat?

Man that bad-ass cat sure didnt go down without a fight. 😀

Yea Man, I think it tried to rip out my exaust on the way down my car 😛.... And yea 95% of that stuff is from the cat except for those high white marks up top, those are from something else they were there when I bought the car... And there are bug splat marks all over it too...... Its dirty now.. When I clean it a lot of the paint will come off.... :|

Let's see, I've hit:

One Rabbit (on the way to HS, my sister cried the rest of the way and my friend wanted to go back and scrape it up afterwards)
One Mourning Dove (uninjured, it bounced off my windshield and flew away, seeing a bird come at your windshield can really freak you out)
One Raccoon (dang thing popped out the cover on my bumper for the front tow hook, $35 to get a new one)

Well I can't Sue the Cat, Its in about 4-5 peices and DEAD!!! 😛 The owners however are a differnt story.... Ill see If I can find a collar when I go up there in the morning...
 
i almost smashed this huge dog a few nights ago rounding a hairpin turn. That bastard would have caused some serious damage, I swear it was as big as I am...

Well this is the first Animal I have hit, But I have been in a car that has hit a Dog and a Raccon, and Dogs will KILL a car. Not as bad as a deer but still pretty bad.

I just have to keep this from my GF or she will kill me because I killed a cat :disgust:

Twas about 4 in the AM, and I was going to the Cape May area to go fishing for blues. Someone had already hit it, and it was already croaked. I didnt see it till too late, and thankfully didnt lose control. Scared the crap outta my father though who was sleeping in the back. Anyway, I knew it was a cow, because there was a piece of hide hanging from the back bumper when we got where we were going.

My uncle hit a moose in his Jetta...caved the windshield in a bit..
