Finding a v6 5 speed one is hard... harder in the US than Canada so I had a slight advantage there 😛
It's a 2500lb car with 130hp/150ftlb from a 3.0L engine. Before anyone comments on the low peak HP number, it has a huge power band.
Also, the manual tranny in the 92-94 Tempo's/Topaz's is the same tranny that came in Taurus SHO's with a different final drive ratio.

Not only that...believe it or not, they also came in AWD versions. From Yahoo Autos:

The Basics
The Mercury Topaz and similar Ford Tempo arrived in 1986. Powerplants included a 2.3-liter overhead-valve 4-cylinder and a so-called "High Output"
version of the same engine that raised horsepower from 98 to an even 100. A 5-speed manual transmission was standard, while a 3-speed automatic was optional. Motorized automatic shoulder belts were standard for driver and passenger alike. However, an optional driver-side airbag was on the option list. Topaz came in both 2-door and 4-door versions. The 1990 GS and LS models could also be ordered with a part-time 4-wheel-drive system.

I always thought it would be kind of cool to have a nasty looking AWD Topaz - completely stock appearance, with an assortment of dents/rust spots - with a built up 2.3 turbo motor hiding in it to wail on ricers 😀. Good luck finding one, though.
