What are you guys worrying about ??
I know what the law is.
How will they ever know you've been in the state for for than 30 days ??

I don't feel like I should pay registration again in less than a 1 year period.
When its time to renew, I'll pay the fee like I always do in whatever state I will be in.

Well, to the DMV that is;)

The story goes like this: I registered my car in Aug 2004 and paid a farking $260 to the Washington state to get license plate and registration. Now I've moved back in California and have been too lazy to go to DMV to change address and everything. I am wondering if I go to DMV, will I be required to register the vehicle in CA immediately? I'd really hope they can wait til Aug but I am not counting on it.

:(

wonder what happened to the lady he hit

This thread is older than the hit and run thread I think... but I'm wondering what happened with that as well.

so if you are in california for a summer internship then what happens? You still have to register your vehicle and get a CA license?
