YACT: Setting up homelink thing in 2003 Acura TL?

Just got a 2003 TL, but it didn't come with the owners manual (dealership is getting one for me). Does anyone know offhand how to setup the homelink device (that opens garages)? Is it easy, or do I need the manual for something like this

My guess is: press and hold homelink button until it flashes or beeps or whatever. Then press and hold the button on the garage door opener while holding it close to the homelink.
