The world's most beat up cavalier managed to find my new G35c in back corner of the top level of the parking deck and scratched my fender. It's not big but now that I know the scratch is there it's driving me crazy. Anyway I could fix it or do I need to take it somewhere?

The damge It's about a half inch long but I can't tell how deep it is. 🙁
 
If the scatch is down to the bare metal I would have it repaired professionally. If not then get some touch up paint, dab it on, lightly sand it down with 600 or finer grit paper, and then rub it out with some compound.
