So my POS car (98 ford taurus) decided to go to crap on me and have its engine start knocking really bad...luckly car is still under extended warrenty (thank god i was smart enough to purchase the EXTENDED plan) and its getting an entire engine replacement. So in the interim i get a rental car...call up the rental company and they say they have no cars avaiible 😕 i'm like wtf...ohkay well then what is avaibile? they say call back later, really no cars avaibile at all.
So i make a big deal then but they can't do anything so i call back this afternoon, again make a big deal, finally this girl gives in and says well I can let you have a truck instead. I'm like ohkay whatever i just need a vehicle. So they come and pick me up (enterprise) in this nice shiny red 05 Dodge Ram 1500. I'm like this is nice but no way is this my car...girl drives me back to the place...fill out paperwork...go out and shes like ohkay here ya go...keys to the nice shiney new 05 ram :shocked: I'm like I get THIS for the economy rate!?!?!? what they were going to stick me with was a neon while car was in shop...she was like "yeah i pulled a few strings for ya"...so for the rest of this week i get to drive around a nice new truck instead of my ol taurus. I miss trucks...i love trucks....i don't think I can go back after this...just driving it back from the rental place was orgazmic 😛
Cliffs:
1. Car broke down...took it in for (warrenty) repairs
2. Go to rental place... they have no cars availible
3. give me an "upgrade" to 05 Dodge Ram 1500 for same price as an "economy" car
4. Me happily driving this thing for a week now 😀
