YACT: Scion xA

Can anyone tell me any first hand experiences with this car?
Also, online Scion.com, I equiped it and it came to about $13K. Is this the price I can get it for at the dealers?

All I can say about the XA is that it's not as ugly as the XB.

: ) Amanda

It better not be....Jesus, those XB things are as cute as a shoebox.
Well, the XB should be as cute as a shoebox. That is what they are shaped like. 😛

Just dont fill it with 20 subs and roll around in downtown seattle acting like your cool, otherwise your good. 🙂

No experience but there's no haggling at Scion dealers. Just make sure you have one near you. Most places don't have a Scion dealer but there are a bunch opening in June.

Indeed i have :disgust:

I was reading the new JD powers initial quality survey for 2004 and apparently the scions are fairly problematic. Something to be aware of.

It's a good car - the 2005's will be out to the dealers in late June. The pricing is set - just print out what you want and go to a dealer - you can order your vehicle thru them 🙂

Problems that are going to be addressed tomorrow with my car at the dealership - they're going to fix a rattle TSB in the dash, a rattle TSB with the back seat, and a misaligned rear skirt.

Other than that - after 3 months and 5k miles later, it's been perfect 🙂

Same as a Matrix, isn't it?

no, matrix is based off the corolla platform (hence, it should be larger), plus, it uses a different, larger engine.

the xB is based off the echo/yaris platform

YOu're right - because I'd never own a VW.
