YACT: Replacing the power antenna

Hi, I have a Lexus LS-400 with a broken power antenna. I need to get a replacement mast with the plastic string thing. Other then e-bay, are there any good places I can get this for cheap?

I never been to a junk yard before. Keep in mind this is my first car. (Bought it totaled but fixed)

Dealer...but that's not cheap...

I'd replace it with a fixed antenna.

The antenna motor works fine. It's kinda a waste if I get a fixed. I realize the dealer will prob rip you off, that's why i'm asking this question.

You should be able to get just the antenna and the plastic gear strip (they're usually connected/one piece from what I've seen).

Those are ghey. Power antennas are where its at😎 But yeah, for a mast I'd goto the dealer. Its amazing the quality difference between aftermarket and OEM on something as simple as an antenna mast. The one for my Accord is about $40 but well worth it. Works like a gem.
