YACT: Related to Fast and the Furious

The person next to my locker was wearing a shirt with "Fast and the Furious" on it. Then my friend starting talking about nitros oxide (sp?). He started saying that its used all the time and that the thing about have a button on the steering wheel to use it was used in real life.

First, I get the feeling its not used much because I've been told before that it wears the engine out. On top of that, I'm guessing they don't really have a button on the steering wheel... or do they? Also, if there isn't a button on the steering wheel, what is usually done to inject it into the engine?

Thanks!

its used mostly by ricers. it does wear the engine out a bit (of course adding anything is bad; ie turbo, superchargers) but if the install is not flawed and he doesnt use it too much, it shouldn't kill the engine. Yeah, you can hook up a button onto your steering wheel to engage

NAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWS

It isn't used THAT much, but it's not uncommon in street racers' cars (or track cars). The button can be anywhere the installer wants to put it, the steering wheel is as good a place as any.

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks!
