I'm tired of getting molested for tires when I take my car in for service, so I bought my own tires from tirerack.com
(got them overnight for no extra charge by the way :) )

Do you think the dealer will give me any sh!t asking them to install the tires I bought?

Thanks

If they give you any problems over it, I'd find another dealer. Any tire shop can also do this for much less cost.

Find a gas station that can put the tires on and balanced them for you. They probably will charge you around $40.

take it to Costco or BJ's, it's like 9 bucks a tire, mounting and removal of your old tire.
Dealership will rape you :)

I did the same thing with my '98 gs4. What car you driving? I bought Sumitomo HTR Z II's from the tirerack and i went over to my local Quick Lane shop that was owned by the local Ford Dealership and the guy scratched all my rims. My experience has sucked. (The delaer ended up re-chroming all the rims for free.) I'm gettting all my tire work at Inskip Lexus here in RI from now on.

Just choose a place wisely and watch them. Your dealer won't give you sh!t.. he will just charge you their growing rate.

both CostCo's and BJ's will mount a tire that wasn't bought from them.. if so, that's awesome.
I know for a fact that Sam's Club won't touch any tire that wasn't bought from them.

Sams Club has mounted these on my Grand Cherokee without a second thought, other than to ask me questions about my Jeep. $9/tire with a full warranty, bought from a private party.
