LOL, I thought this thread was stupid but it got funnier looking at the patterns to what people owned...
Yeah, the male car buying pattern is pretty consistant, starting with:
1) A Junker, something to learn on, OR
1) Sports car, which quickly gets wrecked by reckless driving, followed by the junker to learn on
Then...
2) 1 or 2 nice small sports cars or sports sedans that impress their lady friend
Then, once the guy gets married and becomes "whipped"...
3) Practical family car, or even worse...
3) An SUV or Minivan! Eww!
Then, when the mid-life crisis kicks in....
4) Pickup Truck OR
4) Motorcycle OR
4) Another sports car to impress the ladies with, followed by a divorce and alamony payments
Then, once you retire...
5) Big land boat of a car like a Cadillac or Buick OR
6) A big motorhome with a Saturn towed on the back OR
7) A couple of classic cars to restore. Bonus points if it's the same model car that you had to impress the ladies when you were in your 20's.
