YACT POLL: does this RSX looked lowered to you?

first time driving an rsx, so i don't know if it felt low to the ground. but when i stepped out and looked at the tires, the whole body looked lower than it should be.

go look at the super sized photos, click gallery: Text

compared to this: Text

the broker wasn't much help as it was a trade-in. still under warranty tho, 4year/50k. feel free to comment or rsx's in general.

I love mine

03 rsx-s.

70k miles though 🙁

I drive a lot.

so far>? trouble free...not a single frickin problem. I know that car will take me at least 200k with proper care (which for a honda, isn't too much) 🙂

It has been gently lowered about 1" or so and has been debadged (RSX emblem has been removed from the trunk lid). How's the ride? Is it firm and confident (which would mean proper lowering springs were installed) or is it rough and bouncy (which would mean the stock springs were ghetto-cut)?
The key indication that it was lowered is that the wheel gap is larger on the sides of the wheel arches than on top.
Congrats on the purchase. I used to own an Integra GSR myself.

wow i totally didn't catch the de-badging until now. the lowering was kinda obvious to me tho.

the ride? unexpected bouncy, yes. but i was driving around in the city (SF) where the roads aren't the nicest. any way to inspect to see if the springs were chopped off?

actually i didn't buy it; i was on a test drive. i love the shifter and the engine, very responsive. i'll keep looking for a cleaner one. this was from a used car dealer, not the most trustworthy people in the world.

anybody have the 2nd gear grinding problem with theirs?
