BWAHAHAHAH! You can say what you want, but generic-looking? That's even funnier than the Impala comment. There are only 15k TSXs sold every year in the US... that's the very definition of NOT generic.

At the rate the TSX's are selling, there's going to be closer to 40k a year sold in the US.
They're averaging just over 3k a month.

As for gas mileage, I'm getting mid-high 30's on 100% highway.
Overall so far in 30/70 city/hwy, I'm getting about 29-30 mpg.

I didn't know that. Hmmm... interesting. Still very low compared to the "generic" cars.

WOAH! Do you have the 5AT or 6MT? Also, what speed do you drive on the highway? And what type of gas do you use?

6MT, probably about 70 mph, or anywhere between 65-80 mph. Always premium, Hess if that matters, only because it's the cheapest in my area.

Also, keep in mind I have aftermarket tires, Falken Ziex 512 all season performance.
I'm not sure how that's contributing to gas mileage, if better or worse. Stock tires, for the most part, are supposed to offer better gas mileage.

On top of aftermarket tires, I also have aftermarket rims that are about 7 pounds lighter than stock (total unsprung weight reduction with tires is close to 10 pounds at each corner).
This has less effect on highway gas mileage since the car is already in motion, but probably a lot more noticeable in stop and go city traffic.

Wow... how are you even getting those miles?

I usually average 24MPG in the city and 28MPG in the highway. I am somewhat of an aggressive driver... if I do normal driving I can get 26MPG city and 33MPG highway.

I like the Acura TSX. It's a very feminine sedan that does well in capturing that pseudo performance look. Women like the way the badge accents the sharp body panels. The minimal performance makes it all the more easier to apply makeup or talk on the cell phone. For the male driver it says something different. It proves to the world that they made something of themselves with their new technical support job. The 205hp 2.4 liter Inline 4 engine is nothing to be trifled with when heard revving through the twin tips of the single pipe exhaust. The male driver can feel confident with the performance by seeing that the speedometer goes to a lofty 160 mph. The smooth shifting of a standard transmission has been finely tuned by limiting the torque to 164 ft-lbs.

I applaud you in purchasing such a fine automobile. Now, go forth and make everyone take notice of your sophistication with an Acura under your control.

That sounds about right.
When I drive conservatively, it's almost like I'm playing a game where the goal is to get the best mpg possible, so I try to keep the gas meter at the max point for as long as possible 😛

I've seen the MID report mileage as high as 37.7 mpg over a sustained amount of time on the highway, but it's usually optimistic by 1.5 - 2 mpg, so in reality I probably only get about 36 mpg.

Thanks... at first I thought you were insulting me. 😉

Also, the 160mph speedometer is bogus. It'll only get to around 133mph.

What grade? 91? 93?

What wheels did you go with?
