EDIT: Well as it turns out, i went an entirely different route since the dealer got some new stock in...

Black Mica Sedan (Auto)
Black leather
HID Xenon Headlamps
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
ABS/Sideairbags
6 disc in dash
Sunroof
17" Wheels w/wheel locks
Navigation
--- MSRP was 23.3k, invoice was 21.3k, i got em down to 20.9k :)

Delivery on saturday, pics to follow shorly after.... All i gotta add is 20% tint all around and a spoiler...

Original Thread: These are the two ones im deciding between and wanted to see which one you would go for; (both are 5-door)

Mazda3 SP23 (Special Edition) - $20,925 (before haggling)
Carbon Grey Exterior
Bose Soundsystem (w/ small sub under passenger seat and 6-disc InDash)
HID Xenon Headlamps
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Heated Leather Seats (either Black or Brown are available)
Auto Winshield Wipers/Headlights
Polished Wheels (17")
Security System
ABS/Sideairbags

Mazda3 ~ $21,500 (including aftermarket navi)
Black Exterior
Black w/ red accent cloth seats
Stock Soundsystem (but would add Pioneer Avic-N2 navigation/dvd player and small trunk sub aftermarket)
HID Xenon Headlamps
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
ABS/Sideairbags

And for the interior...
Brown Leather
Black Leather

Agreed - I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't for the the SP23, looking at the specs. Unfortunately the TPMS is included on both - it sounds like it's a complete pain in the ass.

I think he added the price of the aftermarket navi system to the cheaper car's price.

That car's hawt, but too many options on the base model, and top model's expensive.

Actually, from what i've read, the stock HID's are quite nice and put out a very white light. The only people who dont seem to like them are those wanting more blue looking HIDs.

my g/f bought the sp23 about a month ago and it's awesome. if you're intent on the navi, why not just get it factory installed? i've seen tons of people on the mazda forums that do aftermarket jobs and it all looks like ass, even when they try to mask it with low light-level pictures. you can't get any better than a smooth look, so go stock - you'll be glad you did. mazda did a great job with the interior of that car, especially for the price. don't fvck it up by butchering it.

oh, and definitely get the brown leather. personally, i saw pictures and thought it looked like crap. i actually ordered my g/f to get black. well goddamn, i saw the brown in person and it just looked awesome. it gives the car a sense of exclusivity. you know, like it's "special" somehow :p

Not bad actually, with myself at 5' 11" driving, i got out and sat in the backseat and had plenty of room... A good 2" of knee clearance behind the seat.

i liked the brown too, but i could see it growing old on me fast...

I just kinda like the idea of a dark grey car, with blacked out windows, and black leather.

are you sure? where in florida are you located? i'm in miami and drove 45 minutes up to west palm to get my g/f's car at eddie accardi mazda. i bought my 6s there last year, and the salesman (anthony segreto) was awesome. he was willing to work w/ me until i got the deal i wanted, and even did it over the phone. most salesmen won't even bother structuring a deal over the phone.

if you're not too far, i can give anthony a call and have him check out his inventory or have one ordered for you out of state. however, they get they biggest allocation of mazdas in the state so i'd be pretty surprised if they didn't have any sp23 w/ the nav option. (they actually had the sp23s 6 weeks before they were available in miami - in fact, i still haven't seen another sp23 on the road.) i've also purchased two cars from him, so i can tell him to hook you up.

my g/f's got 15% tints on her car - trust me, w/ dark tints, the brown is dark enough so that you can't see sh!t inside the car. besides, i have the same opinion as you. i've got a black car, with dark tints, and a black leather interior. i still think my g/f's interior looks damn hot.

rsx is nice, but the interior is boring. anway, he's probably looking for a 4 door car.

Ugh, not a fan of the rsx... Nice engine but the interior is horribly bland.
