YACT: New Rims + Stoptechs

I really like what you've done with the car, mod wise, (especially the audio setup), but I'm not a huge fan of the rims...they work on the G35, but I still don't think they show off your Stoptechs enough.

I can't see those big brakes of yours. 😛

Still better than buying huge wheels and keeping the stock rotors like what people usually do. 😕

Rear end rides at the right height, since the spare tire is out, the weight gain is minimal. I was going for a VIP look -- brakes are more for stopping, you can see them well in the higher res. pics.

You should scrape those crappy stickers off the windows.

Other than that it looks great....nice and clean.

Creative Autoworks is likely going to be doing the CES car for us (which will be a different car, this is my personal one), so I had to do at least one set of pics with the banner on. I am part of Team Transport, which does car shows / track days, and we also run a charity car show (Toys for tots) every year down in LA.

Ionno, somehow that strikes me more as bling than VIP.

These rims are brushed, not chrome 🙂

Chrome would be bling! Brushed is classy and understated.
I guess its more the number of spokes than the finish in this case...but hey, not saying it looks tacky; just not my style.

Nice car, but imo the rims have too many spokes and too many fine details, and that's what makes them look bling. But whatever, doesn't really matter that much what other people think.

Brushed is certainly more classy, but the rims in the OP aren't exactly "understated."

So when does the blower go in?

not sure if i am going to do forced induction on it yet, but the handling and braking is all set up to be able to handle one!

do it, for the G35 it's basically a bolt on. 😛

If I do it, it will be the APS Twin Turbo + a built engine. Gotta do it right if I do it at all.

Meh. A TT running 6psi should be fine. Not like the car is slow to begin with. Yours got a slush box?
