Our toyota previa is dying, so its time for a new car...
She wants to spend <=20k, and wants some good financing to go with it

Anyone know of any deals?

So far I've thought of

Accord 4dr
Accord Coupe
Camry
Maxima? (Did I read in some thread that '03 overstocks were going for as low as 16k?)
Altima

Can't think of anymore that my mom would want....

anyone know of any deals with these right now? If there's a significantly better deal on one of them I'd probably jump on it...

YACT = Yet another car thread

Any of those you mentioned will be very reliable and all have similar performance. You may wanna start looking at each of their gas milage, repair cost, and warrantee.

I would go with Hyndai just for the warranty and cheap korean labor if you're on a tight budget. At least go look and compare to toyota.

I think Maxima and Altima use premium gas only, not good with gas prices now.
Accord and Camry are no brainer in term of safety and reliability.
Don't think about a car as boring. If boring means reliable then it's cool !

you can prolly pick up a dealer demo

or a stock optioned one for like 14kish..

I've seen brand new ones on newspapers with basic options

AC/power windows/ abs for like 14,800 03 Sonata

I've had great luck with Mazdas. She may like a Mazda 6. Looking and test driving is free. 🙂

Just to let you know, you're probably not going to be able to find an new V6 Accord for under $20,000. Invoice on the V6 models starts at $20,500.
