Any insight you guys might have will extremely helpful. Thanks in advance.
The only way the slave cylinder could affect the clutch slippage would be for it to be stuck forward or binding. This is unlikely to do this since it is hydraulic. Most common symptoms for a bad slave cylinder is the inability to disengage the clutch, i.e. shifting into gear or start the vehicle out of gear. I would be looking for a worn or damaged pressure plate, which is typical of the concern you have expressed.

Quixfire is absolutely correct in his last statement, I faulty slave cylinder will not fully release the clutch (drag, hard shifting), a faulty clutch disc (worn) or a faulty pressure plate (bent/broken fingers) will cause clutch slipping.

2 possibilities: 1st and most likely, the seal or whatever is binding released when left setting overnight. 2nd and less likely, is the slave is leaking fluid and it's getting into the bellhousing.

Check your clutch fluid level!!! I'm having this problem with the Fiero. Sigh. Getting a new slave this weekend.

Sorry to hear about that. Those trucks are expensive to repair. The last clutch I did in a Isuzu Trooper was over eight hours labor and the parts were almost 500.00.

So it's been about 2 weeks since i had the clutch redone and I AM HAVING THE SAME FVCKING PROBLEM. WTF is going one here, I have no farking clue what is wrong or why the mechanic didn't the problem. I expect that when i pay $1200 to fix something it gets fixed! I haven't contacted them yet (will right after this post), but right now i am about 100 miles from the repair show and i am so pissed off right now.
Do i need a new transmission or what. Any ideas lemme know.

The"mechanic" should have given you the old parts(clutch disc) or at least shown it to you.
PM Quixfire. PM me if you want a negative maybe about what they might have done.
