YACT: My car isn't liking the rain this year !!!UPDATED!!!

NutBucket

Lifer
My beloved car has a leaky trunk courtesy of the body shop that didn't properly reinstall the molding around the rear window. As such, water got into my cd changer and shorted it out. In the process, it also managed to kill the internal amp on my hu. Double suck. At any rate, the changer had a service plan through Good Guys but they sent it out for repair. I guess I'll sell it when I get it back since I really don't plan on buying another Kenwood HU.

Here are some pics:
Kenwood Excelon KDC-X615
Kenwood 10-disc MP3 changer KDC-CX89
Car: 91 Accord

UPDATE: I gutted the trunk this morning to let everything dry out. I called the body shop and they want me to leave it with them for a day so they can determine where its leaking. Oddly enough, my head unit seems to be working again so that's a plus.

I would be talking to the body shop that didn't put the molding back right about replacing your stuff.

They will be getting a nice call in the morning.

Look on the bright side, you now have junk in your trunk.

Not anymore; I took the changer in for service already. I was hoping they'd just replace it......

Good, and by all means, if they are uncooperative, post the name of the offending shop.

They're a huge shop (they serve about 6 dealerships I think). They stand to lose much more then I do.
