Hmm.. So it's just a stripped down version of the normal Evo?

Well, more cars are always good. I'd still buy an STi over the Evo though. 😉
 
Doesn't look right without the spoiler, IMO.

It's lost it's character.

As people on the VW Vortex forum said, if you want it as a proper track car (where they seem to be headed for) take out the rear bench seat and make it 2dr, and save yourself a lot more weight!

Making it a 2 door doesn't really make it much lighter. The weight difference between the 2 door and 4 door Impreza for example was less than 10 pounds IIRC.

They should have kept the ABS...
