okay so...I have been looking at some used cars (2000+ mostly) and have been looking at what I would most likely get. So far I have narrowed down to these 3...I am welcoming suggestions, and if anyone knows any more on the best year for these models let me know.
I am looking for decent fuel efficiency (at least 20+ average), not a whole lot of power needed, coupe preferred (i think it looks sleeker), id like an automatic (not too much into the shifting thing..dont know why cuz as i stated Im not in it for the power right now).

BMW 3 series
Acura TSX
Lexis IS 250/300 (advantages/disadvantages b/n the two?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looking at anywhere from $0-$15,000...best bang for the buck preferably (preferably around $10,000)

Out of those 3, I like the IS300, You may be able to get an early 2xxx Acura TL within that budget too

I would go with a BMW 3 series, best in the list! Get yourself a pre-owned certified BMW , and preferably with a warranty and you should be good to go

theres no way you can find a IS250 in that price range, IS300 is doable, but the minimum you will probably pay for an 01 that hasn't been in some kind of major accident is $12.5K

That budget is kinda low for the cars you want.

Since you are looking for luxury instead of performance, then there is no point in getting the Bimmer. BMWs has less luxury/gadgetry than it's Japanese counterparts while being more expensive to maintain.

You can probably get a 2nd generation TL for around 15k, or maybe an RSX.

I have a 2006 6MT TSX, great car for the money, and they have good resale value... Which is why I don't think you could even find a 2004 for 15K (Maybe 19-20K). 2004 is the intro year.

The TL that Imdmn04 suggested could be had for around 12k

The IS300 sucks, if you can find an IS250 in that range go for it, that car is yummy. but I wouldnt touch the older IS with a 10 foot pole.
