YACT: LOL, my bro's Chevy Venture tranny bites the dust

Its an 02, barely 70k miles, I specifically told him to get a Toyota Sienna.

And that is all.

Pop's GMC Van rear axle is starting to eat itself, around 85k miles on it.

Had a Buick that ate through two transmissions.

GM sure can build 'em!

Throw in another tranny for cheap or buy a van that costs twice as much? Decisions, decisions.

Tranny's scare me.

Maybe you should try pitching instead of catching 😉

Had a Eagle Vision that had 2 trannies before 100k miles. Mom's Nissan Sentra eats trannies for lunch as well.

It's about ~$1,500 installed (rebuilt I believe). THats cheap? 🙂

comparatively to a new car it is.

and well, if you think only chevys will, sorry but all cars are bound to have an issue, someone somewhere, their sienna is eating a transmission also.

Yah. Stay away from the 2000-2003 TL's as well. I've heard the accord suffers from transmission problems too.

That's impossible. All cars from Japan have no problems. All cars from domestics have problems.
