YACT: lining of inside door panel peeling away a little

I have a '91 Accord and the lining inside of the car's rear doors is peeling off a little. In the beginning it was only one side. Maybe it's the heat being that we've had this summer with temperatures up to 105, but now the right side has peeled off as well.

Is there a special compound for cars that I can use to glue the upholstrey back onto the door?

Use contact cement and silicone together. Silicone will keep things together, contact cement keeps it together while silicone cures.

You apply contact cement on some area of both sides. Let it dry. Apply silicone adhesive on one side where you haven't applied contact cement. Push everything together.

Whew, ok. That was just kinda weird I guess. For a moment there I had a weird "stalker" vibe. Anyway, there should be a 3M spray adhesive that would be ideal for what you need to do. I'm trying to think of where you'd get it tho. You might try an upholstery store or perhaps even a fabric store.

I'm guessing your car must be doing well since I haven't seen any threads about fixing it. I just turned 150k in mine last week. Gonna finally do my motor swap in the next few weeks.

Where do I obtain such goodies?
