You slip should have your 1.8th on it unless Canada is really THAT back woods :p ;)

What are the reaction time limits for red lighting? Is it below 0.500 is a red light or below 0.400?

Never been to a track with my beast yet.

However, I believe stock '02 Civics 0-60 are around 10 seconds and the quarter mile is 17.3 or so. EAT THAT B!TCH.

Depends on the tree. I believe .500 is regular tree and .400 is a pro tree, but I haven't been to the track in awhile.

That's what I thought too. .400 is the three large yellows at one time and 0.500 is each large yellow individually right?

I've never run my car, but the 300M does the 1/8 in the time it takes a "fast" car to do the 1/4. Needless to say, I won't be running it. :p

I took the Maxima to the 1/4 mile dragstrip (made a thread about it a while back...went auto-xing twice as well).

On a humid day that rained earlier ( I shouldn't have gone but I was too excited not to), I made a best of 16.00 @ 85mph (don't remember). I wanna break into 15s, the car has it in it...just need to launch right.

The cool part was that I got to race cops! :D As it turned out the Crown Vic/Grand Marquis plant is only 10-15mins away from the dragstrip (St. Thomas Dragway), and the cops went there to check out the plant and to go dragging after! They were slow, ran 17s and such (not that I'm any faster..heh).

Cool sightins I saw? A GN with a MASSIVE turbo, he only ran 12s though, a Mustang 5.0 that ran 15s (I thought that was pretty slow) and a turbo 4.9L Caddy V8 (pre-Northstar) Fiero that ran low 14s (also slow, shows the conidtions of the track at the time).

my 1/8 mile time was apparently 10.295 according to the slip. fairly stock Neon R/T... cold air intake, underdrive pulley, crane wires, short shifter. no weight redux. (only 1 pass i made too)

I'm taking the turbovan to Cecil County on Wednesday. I'll report back. I'll be runnin' all weathers and pump gas, though, so don't be surprised if it sucks. Gotta get a little more tuning in before then.

Found my timeslip:

For my best run it's:

Reaction - 1.074
60ft - 2.433
330 ft - 6.843
1/8 - 10.448
1/8 mph - ?? <nothing there>
1/4 - 16.106
1/4 MPH - 84.74

Interesting fact about this particular run: I went against my friend who has an identical car (99 Maxima GLE) except he has horsepower mods (y-pipe, and intake). Now he had a crappier 60ft time (2.518) and consequently his 1/8 ET was slightly longer (10.545), but ended up beating me by 0.659 seconds and his ET at teh end was 86mph. Guess those intake/exhaust mods really make a difference eh.
