YACT: leather seats

I had a car with leather before, and it really didn't wow me on a daily basis. I think a lot of people get leather just to say they have it. To me, it really didn't make the seat more comfortable. Comfort comes from good contours and cushioning...

Nay, but of course the scorching summers and frigid winters of Chicago may have affected my judgement.

Depends. For a luxury car, yes, it's great. For a sports car, not unless it's suade. Regular leather lets one slide around too much for it to work well in a sports car.

Are there any special leather seat covers I can buy that I can change the cloth interior of my Acura Integra without spending a lot of dough??

Depends on the shape of the seat🙂

Good leather: Yes
Bad leather: No

Boo on the domestics (GM, Ford & Dodge) and their miserable excuse for leather.

nay, velour, alcantra, or sueded leather is OK since I don't slide around in it when I'm driving and it doesn't burn my butt when it's hot out.
