not gonna lease a car anytime soon... but i was just wondering.

leasing a car means I can drive it like i stole it right? I mean, redlining and stuff like that, after a 36 month lease i can just give it back to them (in good condition of course) but would i be responsible for any mechanical problems if i did all my maintanence required?

Depends on the terms of your lease but any damages at the time you give it back may be transferable back to you so the dealer can make it "saleable" again.

as long as you don't actually break anything, yeah you could drive it hard and not really worry about it.
