YACT - Jumpstart Kit

I have problems with leaving my dome light on all night. I was getting good at being careful, but this is the third time I've killed my battery and it's made me late for work. I recently moved to a new area, and I don't know anyone around here well enough to ask for jumps all the time. I ask random passersby if they would help me out, I have cables, but I share a parkinglot with a bank, and everyone always seems to be in a hurry.

I need recommendations for a good but relatively cheap portatble jumpstarter. I've heard a lot of bad things about the cheap ones rarely working. Woot! had a good deal on one a few weeks ago, but research told me that the product was discontinued for undisclosed reasons.

Cliffs:
1. Being an idiot, I kill my battery a lot.
2. Need recommendations for a portable jumpstarter.

You leave it on or it won't go off? If it won't go off, check the area of the door for the switch that tells the car the door is open. Perhaps it's bad or there is something stopping it from being fully depressed.

I wish that was the problem. No, it's just my sheer stupidity. When I get out of my car, I usually have a lot of stuff to gather and carry in. My light comes on when I turn off the engine, but only for 4 or 5 seconds, so I habitually turn it on with the switch, and forget that I did. If you open and shut the door, the light takes about 15 seconds to turn off by itself, so I never think anything of it. I'm usually juggling too much stuff to remember.
