Once again, the great Scarpozzi is posting about his Jeep... Today I woke up and installed some molded side-steps on my Jeep. It made my Jeep look a little bigger and a lot better... Now, I'm wanting to get a brush-guard for the front. Due to the nature of all these installations (bolting things to the frame), I've decided that I only want to by MOPAR parts (jeep factory stuff). I've located a couple of places that sell factory brush guards from Jeep, but they're around $500. I did, however, find one vendor that sells the SAME factory brush guards for $160 or so. They're the same company I bought my side-steps from. The only problem is that it's not the same color as my Jeep. My Jeep is Gloss Black and the brush guard they have is GunMetal Blue. Should I take a chance and get the GunMetal Blue one with hopes to be able to get it painted at the dealership? How much would they charge to do this? Also, has anyone ever seen the factory brush guards...do they have any plastic parts on them? (I assume they do because they have fog lights on them)

Pic so you know what I'm talking about.

Thanks. :)

Sorry...I should have specified... That picture isn't the GunMetal Blue Color. That's just a picture of the type of grill.

Bump....I'm seriously thinking about getting this and wanted to know if anyone else has seen this brush guard. Is it all metal or plastic? Thanks. :)
