YACT: Is this a good deal?

BlueBook is almost $17K, there's prob something wrong with it.
I also don't like the way the seller is talking up how nothing ever happend to the car. Makes me wonder???

He says it's Carfax certified, and that it "appears" to never have been in an accident. That raises a red flag with me, as if it was Carfax certified you would know obviously if it had been in an accident or not, so there is no need for an "appears" there. Looks slippery.

Would Carfax list it as a flood vehicle??? I mean if the insurance company pays the owner for a flood damaged car then sells it at an auction, would that be recorded on Carfax?

yes, because in texas the title would change to a flood recovery title.
But, was it flooded in Texas??? Up here in Michigan I see flood damaged cars once in a while from the southern states that have a clean title here.
