YACT: Is there any way to fix sun-faded paint?

My car has a lot of fading towards the rear of the car - is there any way to fix that or at least even it out across the car?

Polishing compound helps but you will never be able to compltly fix it.

The pigments have been destroyed.

this is the cheapest and best bet besides repainting.
