I doubt it, since so many factors fall into play. For instance, one car might be cheaper to insure in my area, but extremely expensive in your area.

I was hoping for at least some kind of guideline to go by, even a classification into "Cheap to insure" vs "Bend over like a good little altarboy". I know that from what I've looked at, the Civic falls more into the later category.

Guess I'm gonna go with a four-four: a four-year old four-door sedan. :p

A. Get married
B. Turn 25
C. Move to a nice (read: low-crime) area
D. Have a good driving record

I've done all except B. and we only pay like $130 a month for two cars, despite the fact that I drive a Civic. :D

Edit: Yes, that is full coverage too.

Currently shelling out CDN$110 a month (plus taxes) under my parent's insurance on an '03 Oddysey and Civic LX.

Station wagons are the cheapest to ensure...
Followed by 4 door sedans.

The insurance companies have lists, here's one from The Highway Loss Data Institute that the auto loosely base their rates on, along with age, sex, driving record, geographics, etc...
