YACT: Is there a cheap solution to fix the paint chipping off my bumper?

Sooo.... 2001 toyota corolla...
About a 4-6 inch spot in diameter where the outer layer of paint slowly chipped off, exposing whatever is under it on my rear bumper... It's slllowwwllyy... getting bigger 🙂.

So, besides getting a whole new paintjob for the car, are there any cheap solutions out there to just repair that spot?

so im guessing you never had your car re-waxed??? because your car is only an 01 which is still fairly new because wax protects the paint it just doesnt make it look good. if there is no damage to the bumper and seeing as that car probably has a plastic bumper, you could just get the whole car resprayed for a couple hundred bucks and have a nice lookin car or just get that part resprayed at a local maaco or earl sheib those kinda cheapy places but im sure some lovely people here on ATOT are going to bash me for some mistake i had in this and input their own ideas

Nope. never had my car re-waxed...
I just got this car in um.. October from my sister.
There was already a big spot exposing the underlayer.

Paintscratch works well, but you're going to need a lot of those pens to fill the area you're talking about! It's generally better for small small areas...

Why not remove the bumper and get it painted? or get a BUMPER BRA 🙂
