YACT: Is High-Viscosity compressor oil 150 viscosity?

Shawn

Lifer
My compressor takes PAG oil that is 150 viscosity. I'm looking at advance auto part's website and they have oil which says "low viscosity" "medium viscosity" and "high viscosity". Anyone know if "high viscosity" means 150?

High is uaually 150. It will say so on the bottle when you go to the store.

I think low is like 36 or some weird number, mid around 100, and high 150. Just make sure oyu get thre right stuff and don't put to much in. The right amount is what is says. To much will kill a ac comp. as much as to little.
