Vehicle: 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette
This vehicle originally came in for the wipers not parking condition. Diagnosis found the wiper motor circuit board bad. Replaced wiper motor assembly with a reman unit. After service the intermittent wipers won?t park while on, the wipers stay up. Additional diagnosis found the wiper switch open on all intermittent settings. Replaced wiper switch with a known good used unit, customer supplied, and the condition was still present. Installed a second wiper motor assembly in the hope the first one defective, it wasn?t.
Anyways, I am at a loss for ideas with this one. Do any of you GM mechanics know way this could be happening?
