I am by no means an electrical engineer, but I wonder if this works.....

I've got a spare size 34 battery here (hey, just in case! it saves me a trip to autozone!) and a certain dumbass killed it when cranking the hell out of an engine. It sat discharged for a week or two and I got an idea.

If I put the battery on my jump box and let it trickle charge it for a day or two, would that work?

Take battery to Autozone, have them recharge it for free, run errands in the meantime.

Free charge, done the right way FTW.

If it's still good you should be able to recharge it and it will work, yes. However, automotive batteries don't like to be deep cycled (completely discharged and then recharged) so when that happened it may have killed it.
